Our client, a residential services company located in Elmsford, is seeking a Human Resources Manager; Temp-to-Permanent Opportunity; Salary up to $80K DOE; Email resume to jobs@concordepersonnel.com
Responsible for performing HR-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: benefits admin, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collects all new hire paperwork including: pre-employment drug screens, I-9’s, and payroll paperwork.
• Maintains personnel records including: address changes, W-4’s, employee profiles, etc.
• Assists with disciplinary documentation, coaching, and training managers.
• Monitors attendance policy.
• Assists with payroll questions, as needed.
• Assists with benefit enrollment, collection, and questions.
• Handles all employee relation issues.
• Assists in developing the workplace culture to align with company culture
• knowledge of labor laws and federal compliance guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Assists with recruitment, attends job fairs, and maintains website postings.
• Coordinates and executes community relations, networking, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Handles administration of FMLA requests.
• Follows-up on all Workers’ Compensation injured employees.
• Assists in understanding short and long term staffing needs and helps create 3 to 6 month staffing plan in alignment with business needs.
• Assists and maintains job descriptions specific to current and future positions.
• Assists with performance management/reviews to ensure compensation is in line.
• Performs other related duties, as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 5 years related experience and knowledge
Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with and influence personnel at all levels inside and outside the company.
Requires strong computer skills. Must be able to function effectively in a team oriented, fast paced, positive, work environment.
